Burbs Kitchen

Wayne Burbidge (AKA The Burb) has announced today that his new website has opened on the World Wide Web, and he has also had a name change from Burb-Bar-Q burbbarq.com  to Burbs Kitchen. Please find out more about the name change here and how they took advice from some local celebrities: Our Story

The Burb is beginning to pick up quite a following and reputation around Southbourne, Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole for his freshly prepared takeaway ready meals, preheat roast dinners, innovative weekly specials and Mac n Cheese balls announced the news today.

The Burb, who has recently helped deliver ready meals for those sheltering and those who simply don’t like cooking! said: “I am beyond excited to finally confirm the launch of Burbs Kitchen along with a new website. We hope the website will further support customers placing their orders, making things a little bit easier for them and me and letting more people know more about our vision. And on a basic level we hope more people can now pronounce our name (was Burb-Bar-Q).

“Having received many comments on Facebook around How can I order?, I knew how important it would be to sharpen up our online presence. As my wife Sarah works in digital, she called on the help of her friend Emma, a WordPress
specialist, to help pull it all together. Having a nicer, more professional space online, I now feel that I can offer so much more to inspire, motivate and hopefully generate more customers. ”

“In March last year, we were taking steps to start our first restaurant, Covid-19 held us back, but we are now (fingers crossed) moving forward with these plans, and hope to share some even more exciting news with you very soon. Having time in lockdown has given us a time to reflect and identify what we ideally want to achieve from the restaurant space. We have defined our aim and have a heap of brand values we are following to keep us on course.”

“We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the current and new customers who have engaged with us on social media, bought from us, invited us to cater for their at-home party plans and huge thanks to those that have left us some cracking reviews. This feedback has motivated us in so many ways, making us do a happy dance, shaping our online presence, shaping our menus and growing our business vision. We plan to track you down on social media and giving thanks with a discount code to run from April to May very soon.”

“We can’t wait to meet all our customers in person, I know we are regularly on your doorstep delivering ready meals but it will be nice for us to have a longer chat. We want you to be part of our journey for much longer.”

A notice on the Burbs Kitchen website reads: Our aim is simple to transform your local food experiences and serve up the freshest flavour-some food for your home dining, party or event. The Burb explains: “The dream is to set a standard for the best quality and best value eating out experience possible”.

I am sure you will agree, this is all very exciting news for foodies in Dorset. Watch this space.

Should you have any feedback on the website big, small or trivial or perhaps events you would like to see at the restaurant space, please get in touch with the Burb Kitchen Crew; they appreciate your advice and guidance.
