We are Burbs Kitchen, a Bournemouth-based family run event catering company. Established in 2020, husband and wife duo Wayne (Burb) and Sarah, mission has been simple, to serve freshly made food full of flavour from local suppliers to our local community. Our foundations are “good vibes and good times” and we pride ourselves on providing amazing food and even better service. We have received a number of testimonials on our high-end restaurant quality food for weddings, festivals, celebrations and other foodie events. We work with our customers to develop recipes to suit their party, source our own ingredients and lovingly make dishes to make your event truly special. We prepare our dishes and cook for our local community Thursday to Sunday at the stylish and historic Dirty Gerties Gin Parlour in Christchurch.

Wayne and co catered for my brother's 40th yesterday - there was 10 of us and the food was honestly sensational. We had various canapes and then a huge paella and it was just lovely. So good in fact that we unashamedly reheated leftovers for breakfast! We also had two veggies, a lactose and soy intolerant family member and a pregnant member and all diateries were catered for no problem. Wayne and co were all lovely too! Thank you!

Burb-Bar-Q did the catering for my 40th birthday party. The hog roast was amazing with many compliments from the fulfilled guests. Wayne also went that little bit further and helped us out by providing other complimentary food when we got let down by another 3 days beforehand.

Wayne supplied the most delicious hog roast and Eton mess ice cream for our friend’s wedding last Friday. Wayne was awesome from start to finish. He visited the venue, showed us an exciting list of food to choose from and kept in touch before the big day. He set up his gazebo and cooked a delicious meal for us all. He even helped us while we decorated the venue and were running short of time. He was a joy to have at the wedding, went above and beyond our expectations and we are definitely going to book him for a family wedding next year. I cannot recommend Burb’s kitchen highly enough. I can’t praise Burb’s kitchen highly enough! I had a small family gathering for my birthday and thought I would let a professional do the BBQ for a change... I was not disappointed! The food was out of this world (both in terms of quantity and quality) and it was refreshing to deal with genuinely nice / kind people!
